La Vida de los Peces es una película chilena dirigida por Matías Bize. La película fue seleccionada como representante de Chile para la categoría "Mejor Película Extranjera" en los premios Óscar, pero no logró llegar a la final.   La Vida de los Peces ganó en los premios Goya como Mejor Película Extranjera de Habla Hispana.

The Life of Fish is a 2010 Chilean drama film directed by Matías Bize. The film was selected as the Chilean entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 83rd Academy Awards, but didn't make the final shortlist. The Life of Fish won the award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film at the 25th Goya Awards.

Sinopsis | Synopsis

Andrés vive en Alemania desde hace 10 años. Regresa a Chile para cerrar su pasado antes de asentarse definitivamente en Berlín. En su estadía, asiste a la fiesta de cumpleaños de uno de sus amigos donde redescubre todo un mundo que dejó de ver, incluida Beatriz, su gran amor. Este reencuentro podrá cambiar la vida de Andrés para siempre.

Andres has been living in Germany for 10 years. He returns to Chile to bring closure on his past before settling for good in Berlin. During his visit, he attends a friend’s birthday party where he rediscovers the world he had left behind, including his long-time love Beatriz. This reunion could change Andres’ life forever.

Hay una seccióm para el idioma español donde puedes acceder a una variedad de recursos, entre ellos videos, series, consejos, un test de nivelación gratuito y una página en facebook donde estudiantes comparten sus experiencias aprendiendo idiomas.

Aprender español puede ser muy entretenido. Es importante probar diferentes formas y evaluar qué funciona y qué no funciona para tí. No hay una forma única o fórmula para lograr un resultado exprés. La práctica hace al maestro por eso, ¡empecemos a hablar español hoy!

Victor Jara fue profesor, director de teatro, poeta, cantautor, activista político y miembro del Partido Comunista de Chile. Se desarrollo en el área musical y jugó un rol fundamental entre los artistas neo-folcloristas, quienes establecieron la Nueva Canción Chilena, movimiento que llevó a una revolución en la música popular de su país bajo el gobierno de Salvador Allende. Poco tiempo después del golpe militar en Chile (11 de septiembre de 1973) fue arrestado, torturado y finalmente asesinado a tiros. El contraste entre los temas de sus canciones, de amor, paz y justicia social, y la forma brutal en que fue asesinado transformaron a Jara en un símbolo de lucha por los derechos humanos y justicia a lo largo de Latinoamérica.

Víctor Jara was a Chilean teacher, theatre director, poet, singer-songwriter, political activist and member of the Communist Party of Chile. He developed in the field of music and played a pivotal role among neo-folkloric artists who established the Nueva Canción Chilena (New Chilean Song) movement which led to a revolution in the popular music of his country under Salvador Allende's government.  Shortly after the Chilean coup (11 September 1973) he was arrested, tortured and ultimately shot to death. The contrast between the themes of his songs, on love, peace and social justice and the brutal way in which he was murdered transformed Jara into a symbol of struggle for human rights and justice across Latin America.
